More messing around with USTA’s clock! Now CV B of track changes the clock tempo so that every stage has a different speed. It’s great for creating rubato and accelerando effects!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 USTA
  • 1 SAPÈL
  • 1 BRENSO

DIRECTIONS

  1. Set up a basic sequence as in CV, Gate, Length, but use SAPÈL’s clock output instead of the internal one (see Clock and Ratio).
  2. Enter the Track Menu and scroll until the Gate B Range, then set it to bipolar (+/- 5 V).
(USTA will now output also negative voltages from CV B.)
  3. Set all the CV B values to 0.
  4. Patch CV B out to SAPÈL’s Gate/CV modulation input and set the Gate/CV modulation switch to the right.
  5. Now change the CV B values.
(A stage with a negative voltage will play slower, and one with a positive voltage will play faster.)
