USTA has 16 outputs, FUMANA 16 bands. Let’stake advantage of this coincidence!⁠

We patched every CV and gate output to an individual band VCA. We set all the four tracks to the same clock, then we used raw CVs and gates to animate the spectra of our BRENSO oscillator.⁠

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 USTA
  • 1 FUMANA
  • 1 BRENSO
  • CGM

DIRECTIONS

  1. Set all the four USTA Tracks’ CV A to Raw mode:
    1. Select the desired Track.
    2. Push the Navigation Encoder.
    3. Scroll until the CV A menu item, then select Raw.
  2. Patch BRENSO’s Final output to FUMANA’s Main input.
  3. Patch FUMANA’s Odd and Even outputs to two CGM Channels, then adjust the Pan to taste.
  4. Turn down all the 16 FUMANA bands.
  5. Patch all the 16 CV and Gate outputs of the USTA sequencer to the 16 individual bands’ CV inputs.
  6. Experiment with different USTA patterns.
