Creative kick drum sound with FUMANA’s envelope followers! In this patch we’ll process a low sound from FALISTRI through FUMANA’s filterbank, we’ll use a random trig from SAPEL as modulation source and then feed some of the resulting envelopes back into FALISTRI to modulate the tone.

INGREDIENTS

• 1 FALISTRI
• 1 SAPÈL
• 1 FUMANA

DIRECTIONS

1. Set FALISTRI’s green generator to ‘Loop’ mode.
2. Set the green generator’s Time Scale switch to ‘Short’.
3. Patch FALISTRI’s green bipolar output to FUMANA’s Main input.
4. Patch SAPÈL’s Random clock output to FUMANA’s Mod Input.
5. Patch FUMANA’s ALL output to your favorite output section.
6. Patch any of the 16 FUMANA’s Envelope Followers outputs to FALISTRI’s green V/oct
   (Now the envelope followers triggered by SAPÈL’s clock will affect the pitch of the “kick drum”. Experiment with different envelopes for longer or shorter decays!)
